PhyxdIt.com was started to sell our first product, the UNSTRAPINATER. We opened PhyxdIt, pronounced “fixed-it”, knowing that there will be several other unique ideas to share with our customers.
The UNSTRAPINATER was born out of necessity. I have spent my life using ratchet straps, car dollies, and tie downs when needed but, when we sold our house to travel in a motorhome carrying a motorcycle and towing a car, I got to spend almost every day using them. Instead of being a bugger once and a while they were a regular pain in the rear to use all the time even though I did my best to keep them clean and oiled.
The bike used several ratchet-straps and the car dolly had ratchet wheel straps. The ratchets would get full of road grit and gunk. When you’ve got a lower clearance car on the dolly it’s even less fun to get them undone. Which is why I designed the tool with 0 and 90° ends.
The UNSTRAPINATER engages with the ratchet assembly rather than the straps so you get the leverage needed to get them undone. It’s a breeze to use and it’s easy to pack and store.
